Hawaii provider receives grant for telehealth initiative

CVS Caremark Charitable Trust has awarded a $50,000 grant to Lanai Community Health Center in Hawaii through its Innovations in Community Health grant program. The facility plans to use the funds to enhance its hypertension telehealth program. Part of the grant will be used to buy tablets and hotspots so that staff members can easily upload and store patient hypertension readings during in-home visits.
