Symantec: Spammers target 3 Web services, including Snapchat

Symantec says Bitly, Kik Messenger and Snapchat are the targets of a spam campaign. The spam starts on Snapchat, where users are asked to connect with a friend on Kik; users who add the contact on Kik are given a link abbreviated by Bitly that leads to an adult website, Symantec says. Separately, startup Wickr is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for anyone who can identify a substantial security vulnerability in its mobile encrypted-messaging application.
