W.Va. high-school students explore C-SPAN's mobile resources

Civics and social studies students at a high school in West Virginia recently learned more about government and the political process during a tour of the C-SPAN Interactive Multimedia Presentation Center. Students -- who also tested their current events knowledge -- toured the mobile, interactive studio, complete with touch-screen computers, informative kiosks and other learning resources. "When they talked about where they get their news, they were able to see the different aspects of how they look at government," Mayor Steve Williams said.
