CSR is the path to bigger profits, researchers say

Sustainable-business practices and reporting translate directly into bottom line results, according to a study by Harvard Business School and London Business School researchers. "[S]ustainable firms generate significantly higher profits and stock returns, suggesting that developing a corporate culture of sustainability may be a source of competitive advantage for a company in the long-run," the researchers write.
