Havas' acquisition in the Philippines extends its Asia presence

Havas has acquired a majority stake in Snapworx Mobile in the Philippines, extending Havas' reach in Asia and the Pacific. Snapworx will become part of Havas' Mobext brand, which is active in 11 global markets with SMS, download, mobile Internet, mobile display, search and proximity-based services. "Snapworx has some extremely sophisticated platforms for mobile marketing and a very impressive list of clients," said Havas Digital chief Anthony Rhind.
