Advocacy groups urge release of final rule on Sunshine Act

Nineteen advocacy groups asked the Office of Management and Budget to release the final rule on the Physician Payments Sunshine Act, which mandates that medical device, biologic and drug companies report payments made to doctors. Delaying the law's implementation has "a significant consequence for [health care] system costs," the groups wrote.
