Boeing offers extended contract to engineers

Boeing has offered to extend a large part of its current contract with members of the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace. "Agreeing to this contract as soon as possible will allow all of us to focus our time and energy on the immediate challenges facing the company," Boeing said in a statement. The contract offer keeps in place health care plans and allows salary increases of 5% per year.
