International expansion is a 2013 priority for Focus Brands

Focus Brands, which opened more than 200 units in foreign countries in 2013, is continuing its push for international expansion this year. "We see a lot of growth potential out there," said Mike Shattuck, the company's president. "And we have the capacity to do so efficiently." The company, which recently launched its 1,000th international unit, includes brands such as Cinnabon, Auntie Anne's Pretzels and Carvel Ice Cream.
