Pennsylvania's 11 casinos took in $3.16 billion in 2012 and landed in the nation's second spot in terms of a gaming revenue market, after Las Vegas. "Pennsylvania grew so fast because the casinos are located throughout the state and located closer to the main population centers," said John Kempf, a gaming analyst at RBC Capital Markets.
