U.K. to spend £6 million on language training

The U.K. plans to spend £6 million for an effort to teach English to non-native speakers. Officials estimate that about 5% of families in the country do not speak English as a first language. Local organizations will have an opportunity to use some of the funds if they can create new ways to address the problem.
