Who buys more snowblowers?

Forty percent of snowblowers sold in the U.S. are purchased in the Northeast, according to data from Sears Holdings. The Midwest buys about 28%. Experts say two-stage blowers perform the best but acknowledge that shovels are still needed to get into tight spaces. Of course, some people prefer to hire a plowing service.
