2 towns unsuitable for used-fuel storage, Canadian regulator says

The towns of Saugeen Shores and Arran-Elderslie in Ontario are not suitable sites for storing high-level used nuclear fuel, according to Canada's Nuclear Waste Management Organization. "Safety, security and protection of people and the environment" were central to the agency's decision to remove the towns from the list of possible storage sites, the agency said.
