Arizona is not giving up on drone commerce

A group of drone proponents is creating a private drone-testing site in Sierra Vista, Ariz., undeterred by being passed over as one of the Federal Aviation Administration's six drone-test sites. The Sierra Vista Economic Development Foundation and others will test drones at a private, two-runway airport. "Everyone knows this is an opportunity, and we said, 'How can we leverage what we've already put into place over the past two years?'" said Mignonne Hollis, the foundation's executive director.
