Nuclear firm seeks contractor for "Big Box" project

Sellafield officials have begun retendering for a contractor to build the Box Encapsulation Plant Product Store and Direct Import Facility in Cumbria, England. Known as the "Big Box," the facility would encapsulate intermediate radioactive waste in concrete and store it above ground at the site. Interested companies have until April 7 to register on Sellafield's tendering portal.
