Speedo makes fashionable new pitch

Having expanded its line to include footwear, activewear and underwear, Warnaco's Speedo brand is launching a campaign this spring to emphasize its fashion-forward direction. The $4 million-plus print and outdoor campaign from KraftWorks, New York, will feature seven-time Olympic medalist Amanda Beard in ads in fashion magazines and will also include placements in viral e-newsletters and party promotions in New York, Miami and Los Angeles.
