Franchise expo debuts in Miami, Latin market eyed

The International Franchise Association's Franchise Expo South, which kicks off today in Miami Beach, expects to draw some 10,000 attendees. Juiceblendz, Math Monkey and other growing concepts will be represented. "We think that the southeast market of the U.S. is one with terrific growth potential," said IFA President Matthew Shay. "And increasingly we are seeing franchising embraced as a business model from countries around the world."
