New California center won't be "Anytown, U.S.A."

Officials of the Sacramento River Delta town of Brentwood, Calif., want to make sure the new 23-building Brentwood Center is "something more unique, not something Anytown, U.S.A.," as planning commissioner Don Stirling says. They're asking the developer to revise his plans to more fully capture the feel of a European plaza.
