European powerhouses to push markets for more disclosure

Finance chiefs from Europe's four largest economies -- France, Italy, Germany and Britain -- met in Paris Thursday and agreed to encourage financial markets around the world to increase disclosures to prevent a repeat of the current financial crisis. "We are united in our determination to make progress and make progress quickly," said UK Chancellor Alistair Darling.
