Offshore natural gas find could be Israel's largest

A discovery of significant natural gas deposits in the eastern Mediterranean has the potential to meet Israel's gas needs for the next 10 years, according to those close to the discovery. An exploration group led by U.S.-based Noble Energy announced more than 3 trillion cubic feet of gas was discovered at Tamar off the coast of Israel. Israel's energy minister, Binyamin Ben Eliezer, said the find could be the biggest in Israel's history.
