Growth hormone treatment may help prevent memory loss

Treating children with growth-hormone deficiency may help prevent memory loss in adulthood, according to a study done with rats. Researchers said hormone-deficient mice performed significantly worse on memory tests than those given growth hormone supplements or those that received a saline solution.
