Health reform to improve medical education, Md. lawmaker says

The House-passed health reform bill will provide more training and financial assistance to medical professionals, said Rep. John Sarbanes, D-Md., in a Baltimore Sun opinion piece. The bill includes some provisions from the Health Care Work Force Incentive Act of 2009, introduced by Sarbanes, as well as provisions to improve scholarship, loan repayment and training grant programs for health care professionals.
