OMD is picked as 2009's top global media shop

Omnicom Group's OMD has been named by Adweek as the top global media agency of 2009. The shop was cited for its ability to defend and consolidate existing accounts, such as Vodafone, which selected OMD to be its first global media agency network; win new business, including the $200 million Monster.com account; and innovate by placing the first campaign on Kindle and adding video to a magazine.
