Probe finds no hepatitis C case in N.Y., Texas linked to technician

Investigations conducted at hospitals in New York and Texas where Kristen Diane Parker previously worked did not find a case of hepatitis C infection that could be linked to the former surgery technician. Colorado authorities have charged Parker with consumer product tampering for switching syringes with a painkiller with those containing saline solution, which exposed patients at two Colorado hospitals to hepatitis C.
