Vt. district adopts Web program for teaching students with autism

In Rutland, Vt., public schools are using AutismPro -- an Internet-based system to provide resources and tools for teachers to develop evidence-based strategies in working with students who have autism. More than 5,000 lesson plans and other supports are offered through the system, and teachers and parents can use built-in collaborative tools to update system files each week.
