Consumer gadgets need to leap gap to reach seniors

Consumer technology needs to seek out seniors to identify how that technology can be applied to fill the needs of the older population, writes Laurie Orlov after visiting the Consumer Electronics Show and a "Look Who’s Aging" conference sponsored by the Erickson School of the University of Maryland. Future conferences will give a better idea whether the tech gap can be filled, Orlov writes.
