Argentina, Brazil join to co-produce AIDS drugs

Argentina and Brazil have agreed to combine their efforts on producing antiretroviral drugs for HIV/AIDS patients as a way to keep treatment costs down, and the countries are considering building a $10 million manufacturing plant in Argentina. Brazil previously has kept costs relatively low by threatening to break patents and produce generics.
