Perry Ellis launches comic strip campaign

Apparel maker Perry Ellis is dropping its traditional model-and-actor spokesmen in favor of a series of comic strip advertisements to run in men's fashion magazines. The $15 million campaign also calls for the ads to appear on billboards and shopping mall escalator handrails.
