American to implement safety reporting program with flight attendants

American Airlines flight attendants can report safety concerns without any fear of reprisals under a new Aviation Safety Action Program announced Friday. The airline canceled its ASAP with pilots last year, following union allegations that pilots who reported safety lapses were being disciplined by the company.
