Music industry now trying to make money from piracy?

The music industry this year is set to take a cue from so-called music pirates through Web and mobile music services that appear to be free to users, but direct revenue back to the industry through the cost of a mobile phone or a broadband Interact access agreement. "Two thousand nine should be the year when the music industry stopped worrying and learned to love the bomb," said Feargal Sharkey, who helms British trade group UK Music.
