Texas physicians use PDAs to monitor patients

As a means to improve patient care, physicians at Tomball Regional Medical Center in Texas have chosen Thomson Reuters' Clinical Xpert Navigator to deliver real-time data to their hand-held devices and desktop computers to keep tabs on lab results, medications and vital signs. "Having immediate access to our [patients'] information on our PDAs means we can spend more time on rounds treating patients -- and not combing through charts searching for the relevant clinical data," said the hospital's pharmacy director.
