$4.1B bridges project in metro Louisville stalls over funding

The $4.1 billion Ohio River Bridges Project in metropolitan Louisville has not made any progress in six months because a two-state panel on funding has yet to convene. The 14-member panel with members from Kentucky and Indiana was scheduled to meet on Dec. 18, but the meeting was indefinitely postponed. The Kentuckiana Regional Planning and Development gave project organizers until next December to devise a financial plan for the bridges.
