Caterpillar executive named to U.K. auto council

Gwenne Henricks, vice president of Caterpillar's Industrial Power Systems, became the only executive from a construction equipment company to be named to the new Automotive Council, which focuses on long-term strategic challenges in the U.K.'s auto industry. Henricks says choosing Caterpillar was appropriate because of the company's innovative ideas, including the creation of low-carbon operations and products to help the environment.
