Idaho district to open charter school for students with special needs

Preparations are under way for a charter school to open this fall in Nampa, Idaho, that will cater to students with disabilities and those who struggle with traditional classrooms. The OWL Charter Academy will serve students in grades K-5 and annually add a grade through eighth grade. The school plans to appeal to students' different learning styles and will include multi-sensory instruction for students who have dyslexia, visual or hearing impairments, or other learning disabilities.
