Online fashion retailer ModCloth taps into crowdsourcing

Susan Gregg Koger is the 25-year-old co-founder of online clothing retailer ModCloth, based in Pittsburgh. Koger and her team of buyers used to rely solely on their sense of fashion to decide what the company should carry. Now, ModCloth is tapping into the phenomenon known as crowdsourcing. Using online tools, including social media, ModCloth asks its customers to help decide.
