The global economic recovery is good news for Europe's structured-finance sector, Fitch Ratings said, but unemployment remains a concern. "It is too early for Fitch to change its overall negative-rating sentiment for European structured finance," said Philip Walsh, a managing director at Fitch. "However, as we have seen so far in the recession, rating downgrades are likely to be focused on junior tranches."
