Study: Kidney stones are more frequent in obese people

People who are obese are more likely to develop kidney stones than are normal-weight people, a study indicates. Researchers looked at records for more than 95,000 people and found that people who were of normal weight or overweight had a one in 40 chance of being diagnosed with kidney stones compared with a one in 20 chance for obese people, though the severity of the obesity didn't seem to matter.
