Work begins at Boeing's Georgia plant on $2B project

Production work has started at Boeing's facility in Macon, Ga., on replacement wing sets for the Air Force's A-10 Thunderbolt II. The replacement work is part of a $2 billion contract that will last through 2018, and Boeing will deliver the wing sets in four parts to Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
