Wyoming district uses golf to teach students life skills

Nineteen schools in a Wyoming district will participate in a physical-education program this year that combines lessons in golf with life skills. The First Tee program uses golf to teach students these core values: confidence, courtesy, honesty, integrity, judgment, perseverance, respect and responsibility. The program is taught in 3,700 schools nationwide and is available only to certified physical-education teachers.
