Ohio invests $1M to promote patient-centered medical homes

Ohio has announced a plan to spend $1 million to train physicians, nurses and office staff from 50 practices to transition into patient-centered medical homes. This new health care model aims to improve care and lower medical spending, said Dr. Ted Wymyslo, director of the Ohio Department of Health.
