How will the Sunshine Act change doctors' decisions?

Exposure by the Physician Payments Sunshine Act may discourage doctors from signing deals with drugmakers or taking grants or even free meals, or it may encourage the practices further if doctors see their peers making such arrangements, writes Jerome Kassirer, editor-in-chief emeritus of The New England Journal of Medicine. A public website will soon report payments by drugmakers and medical-device makers to doctors.
