N.D. high-school students ponder necessity of war

A group of students at Bismarck High in North Dakota have researched and presented their project addressing the question "Is war necessary?" The students' project-based learning research included articles and interviews with veterans, used persuasive writing skills and addressed mental illness to show the results of war. Social studies teacher Robin Nein said the goal is for students to learn how to research and share their knowledge to address issues in society.
