Ohio State University is among 11 schools in the state using a National Science Foundation grant to help attract and retain minority students in majors related to science, technology, engineering and math. The $3.5 million grant is meant to help the institutions double the number of minorities seeking degrees in STEM fields over a five-year period. Grant funds will help students receive additional academic support, conduct research and participate in other activities to enhance their STEM education.
