Former Montgomery County, Md., educator Leticia Barr in this blog post advocates for the adoption of a social media curriculum in schools to teach students how to properly communicate online. Barr, founder of Tech Savvy Mama, suggests that schools move in this direction by designing lessons that integrate the social media platforms that students already are using, such as Snapchat, Twitter and more.
