Defining what it means to be low-carb

Some food manufacturers now advertise their product lines as being low in carbohydrates, but there is no official designation of what low-carb means. To that end, the FDA is set to define "low-carbohydrate" as part of its larger goal of fighting obesity, though some expect the process to take several months to implement and finalize.
