Employers increase health care incentives for workers

Companies are increasing incentives for employees who actively work to control their diabetes. Affinia Group this year will offer a new insurance option that gives diabetic employees $200 to $600 toward health care costs and other perks if they take their medications and monitor their blood sugar. Hospital company HCA and General Electric also are offering employees perks for managing their diabetes.
