McKesson makes offer for Quebec's Uniprix pharmacies

Pharmaceutical distributor McKesson Corp. has made an offer to buy Montreal-based Uniprix Inc., a drug-store chain operator, for an undisclosed sum through its McKesson Canada division. Uniprix has roughly 400 outlets in Quebec and annual sales in the range of $1.6 billion.
