Mom molds second career running ironworks

Janice Visconti, president of Avid Ironworks in Springfield, Mass., talks about how her need for flexibility led her to change her career from nursing to business management. Visconti says her gender has given her an advantage. "Being a woman in the workforce, that's supposed to help with gaining contracts and being more competitive with other companies," she said. "... I own a business in a competitive market, and if this gives me any type of advantage, that's good."
