Poll: More than 6 in 10 favor LGBT rights in Utah

More than six in 10 Utah residents back workplace, housing and other legal protections for LGBT people and identify as members of the Mormon Church, according to a statewide poll conducted for Equality Utah. The survey also found most Utahns are against adoption rights for gay and lesbian couples, but back second-parent adoption rights. Equality Utah released the results in advance of next week's planned introduction in the state Legislature of five LGBT-rights measures, according to this article.
