Animal relief alliance issues first Haiti situation report

The Animal Relief Coalition for Haiti noted in its first situation report that relief operations in the country have picked up. The group also said it is gearing up for the possible spread of disease, which is expected to be the next major concern after supplying adequate food and water. AVMA is among several U.S. animal advocacy groups supporting the alliance.
