Educators teaching from science kits, not texts, in Wyoming district

Science kits have replaced textbooks in some classrooms in a Wyoming district. The kits include the materials need by teachers -- instructions, worksheets and experiments -- and help make science "cooler" for students in kindergarten through eighth grade, letting them discover the answers through hands-on activities instead of reading about it in a textbook. The curriculum has received praise from teachers, who say they are becoming comfortable with the kits.
